Synopsis

In the early 1970s, the northwestern United States was rocked by a series of murders and disappearances.

Working alongside police officers in the Seattle area, local crime reporter Ann Rule investigated the killer's trail. When a suspect was finally arrested in 1978, Ann Rule was shocked. Ted Bundy was no stranger to her. He had been her friend for seven years.

From what was supposed to be an investigative book, Ann Rule then wrote a unique book, A Killer So Close, which is a cross between a portrait, crime literature, and autobiography.
